I have known Sandra for nearly eight years and up until last year when she booked a free, hour-long appointment to discuss a smile makeover and the various options that we provide at Estetica she had been unhappy with her teeth and smile.
The problem was five-fold. Sandra's smile was not only uneven, but she had worn teeth and crowding in her lower teeth too. On first inspection, there were also clear signs of poor quality of previous dental work and to cap it all, her teeth were different colours. However, Sandra’s main concern was that she had already undergone a great deal of dentistry and although she was keen on a smile makeover, she was equally keen to investigate the least invasive option.
Here at Estetica, we put the patient first and aim to make them feel at ease. We also involve the patient fully in any decision making. With Sandra, we considered the different options and discussed the pros and cons of each before starting with Invisalign to correct the crowding. The treatment also helped to bring the upper teeth to a position which meant less preparation/tooth reduction for veneers and restorative work .Sandra’s Invisalign treatment took less than 10 months to take shape and 12 week s ago, after the analysis of her facial structure, I ordered the prototype of her upper teeth. Having had her teeth whitened, Sandra then had her prototype fitted. She's delighted with the outcome. Take a look at the pictures. During the last 10 months, people had noticed that Sandra’s smile had changed, albeit slowly. Last week, the transformation was complete and there was a 'Wow' factor around the place. At present, we are awaiting Sandra's feed-back on the Prototypes before ordering the final restorations. It has been a genuine good news story for us all – especially Sandra who is pleased with her smile makeover.
