Are you tired of dealing with endless, excessive sweating? Are you constantly applying antiperspirant because you’re afraid of ruining your clothes or being caught with embarrassing sweat stains by friends and colleagues?
If you’re suffering from seemingly unending sweat, it may be a result of hyperhidrosis, a medical condition that causes people to sweat uncontrollably, even in cool, dry climates. Those suffering from hyperhidrosis typically experience heavy sweating in the hands, feet, armpits, and the groin area, and other parts of the body where you may find a high concentration of sweat glands.
Luckily, if you have hyperhidrosis, there is a new medical breakthrough that can help you put an end to this embarrassing condition once and for all.
Our clinic offers an affordable, effective solution to excessive sweating of the armpits. We have treated hundreds of patients successfully over the last twelve years at our clinic at Estetica in Surrey.
How long do the effects last?
Generally, most patients are free of excessive sweating for about 6-8 months after a treatment, depending on the site of the injections, the amount of the solution used, and your own personal chemistry. As many as one third of those treated for hyperhidrosis are free of excessive sweating for at least one year.
How long does it take to start seeing results?
After your treatment, sweating decreases within a couple of days, and the maximum effect takes about a week or two. Again, results may vary slightly.
Who can benefit from hyperhidrosis treatment?
Anyone who struggles with excessive sweating stands to benefit greatly from this treatment. It is especially beneficial for those who haven’t had success with prescription medications, antiperspirants, and other topical treatments.
What can I expect from my treatment session?
Administering a hyperhidrosis treatment takes no more than 15 minutes in most cases, in which time a dozen or so injections will be made just under the skin. It’s a fairly pain-free experience, though some may experience mild discomfort, in which case a topical numbing agent may be used.
Is it safe?
Like all medical treatments, not everyone is an eligible candidate for hyperhidrosis treatment. If you are eligible, this treatment is extremely safe, and allows your body to function normally, but with less sweat.
