Zap! your unwanted hair away with our GentleMax technology
With spring just around the corner, doing the pits is big business. Some might think lasering armpits is an indulgence when you can just grab a Bic razor and lather up. Not our customers who have tried our magic machine.
The GentleMax Pro is two lasers in one, also called as the Rolls Royce of laser. It’s considered “colour-blind,” because the touch screen allows the doctor to easily select the ideal setting based on skin tone and colour. Parisa uses the Nd:YAG for darker skin types, because it’s safer and more effective. Those with lighter skin tones derive the most benefit from the Alexandrite.
Without getting too technical, it’s an “integrated treatment system using laser technology to deliver an intense but gentle burst of energy onto targeted areas of the skin.”
The laser can be used anywhere you want to rid yourself of unwanted hair, and it’s done inside a physician’s room because it’s so powerful. Both practitioner and patient wear protective eye wear designed specifically for the procedure. The GentleMax Pro is made by Syneron/Candela, and it’s received rave reviews.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers in Skin Rejuvanation
Bioengineered hyaluronic acid derivatives are currently available that provide for safe and effective soft-tissue augmentation in the comprehensive approach to nonsurgical facial rejuvenation. Current hyaluronic acid fillers do not require preinjection skin testing and produce reproducible, longer-lasting, nonpermanent results compared with other fillers, such as collagen.
Bioengineered hyaluronic acid fillers allow for safe and effective augmentation of selected anatomical regions of the face, when properly administered. Combined treatment with botulinum toxin type A can enhance the effects and longevity by as much as 50 percent. Key components to optimal filler administration include proper anatomical evaluation, changing or combining various fillers based on particle size, altering the depth of injection, using different injection techniques, and coadministration of botulinum toxin type A when indicated. Concomitant administration of hyaluronic acid fillers along with surgical methods of facial rejuvenation can serve as a powerful tool in maximizing a comprehensive treatment plan.
Current techniques in nonsurgical facial rejuvenation and shaping with hyaluronic acid fillers are safe, effective, and long-lasting. Combination regimens that include surgical facial rejuvenation techniques and/or coadministration of botulinum toxin type A further optimize results, leading to greater patient satisfaction. How Microdermabrasion works?
Microdermabrasion is one of the more recent skin-care techniques to have crossed over from Hollywood to the mainstream. It's being advanced as an "instant facelift" -- an effective alternative to costlier and more invasive procedures like plastic surgery, chemical peels and botox injections. Recently, more and more men are trying it, instead of pursuing cosmetic surgery.
The skin is instantly rejuvenated by means of mechanical skin exfoliation without the use of chemicals or lasers and it’s virtually painless. It offers a modern and effective alternative to chemical and laser peels and can be combined with other treatments to help achieve the desired results. It’s most commonly used to treat the face and neck and immediately restores smoother looking skin and reduces the appearance of superficial wrinkles and scars, sun damage, large pores, acne and age spots.
Microdermabrasion is performed by passing a hand held device that emits a highly controlled pressurized flow of fine, medical grade crystals over the skin. These crystals, delivered at high velocity onto the skin surface are immediately vacuumed away, taking the top-most layer of dead skin cells with it. Rather like sandblasting the face, the crystals exfoliate the skin’s outer layer, improving the tone and texture of the skin and also revealing the new, living skin cells that are soft and smooth. Following microdermabrasion the skin is in a better condition to absorb anti-ageing and acne creams. At the same time the underlying epidermis is also stimulated by the treatment and this promotes new collagen, thickening the dermis and improving the resistance to the effects of ageing. As the treatment only causes superficial injury to the skin, the risk of scarring and uneven pigmentation following microdermabrasion is extremely low in comparison with other resurfacing techniques, making it a safe and effective treatment for any skin type.
It is recommended for All skin types. Treating fine lines and wrinkles, acne prone skin, sun damaged skin, blackheads, whiteheads, superficial age spots and pigmentation, oily, dry or patchy skin. As a result the new skin cells are revealed you will see an improvement in texture and overall appearance of the skin. Although a few treatments may be required, microdermabrasion is a simple, fast and effective way of reducing superficial skin damage to restore a refreshed and more youthful looking complexion.
One of the many advantages of microdermabrasion is that it can be used on all skin types with no recovery time needed post treatment. The skin can sometimes be red for a few hours following treatment but you can return to work immediately.
