Botox is permanent
Botox most definitely isn’t permanent, its effects typically last for around three months, after which time the muscles under the skin that are relaxed by the injections begin to move around again. The effects can appear to last for longer though, because in that time you’ll have got used to not creasing those muscles up, and therefore creating fewer, less defined wrinkles.

Botox is painful
While you’re likely to experience some discomfort when having Botox injections (just like you do with any injection) it’s not an excruciatingly painful experience. The needles are small and only penetrate just under the skin, and it’s a quick process, so any discomfort you experience will be fleeting.
Botox is harmful to the body
This is something that gets thrown around a lot, but it’s simply untrue. Like any drug that’s used on people, it has undergone rigorous testing and trials to make sure it’s safe for human use. And it absolutely is.
Botox is a very localised treatment that targets very specific muscles in your face, it doesn’t spread to other parts of the body.
