Invisalign in Molesey ,special offers WWW.esteticaa.co.uk,

August 24th, 2010

1. What is Invisalign?

A tooth-straightening procedure that uses a series of clear removable trays-called aligners-to straighten teeth. The plastic trays that are changed about every two weeks move teeth-little by little, week by week-until they have moved into the final position the dentist has prescribed.

2. Who is a candidate for it?
Invisalign  treats the majority of common alignment problems for adults and teens-whether a smile needs minor improvements or more dramatic change. From crowding or excess spacing to complex overbites, under bites and cross bites, an Invisalign treatment plan can improve any smile.

3. Are the aligners comfortable?
Comfortable plastic trays work to slowly move teeth while patients continue enjoying a normal active lifestyle. They are comfortable to wear, and removable. Patients eat, drink, brush and floss-as usual!! No metal or wires irritate lips or cheeks, and there is no worry about injury while playing sports.

And Invisalign is easily removed while attending special events or for a late-night snack.

4. How long does it take?
A typical case takes about one year. The doctor checks your progress about once a month, or two, and every few visits, patients get new aligners to continue the treatment.

5. How many aligners does a patient get?
The average number of aligners worn during treatment runs between 18 and 30, but the treatment time and the number of trays varies from case to case.

Cosmetic Dentist East Molesey How to choose Right one ? WWW.esteticaa.co.uk

August 23rd, 2010

It takes more than marketing, slogans, and “cosmetic dentist” labels on web sites and signs to be a skilled practitioner. The following are some guidelines for choosing a great cosmetic dentist.

First, make sure that the dentist  you choose has training . A great cosmetic dentist has advanced training in aesthetics and regularly attends continuing education courses says Molesey Dentist . Speak with the dentist  and/or with his staff about his special qualifications, expertise and training . Often times, this information is available on the practice’s website.

Your first visit should be a consultation to discuss your specific issues and expectations. The dentist at this time will determine the best course of action to arrive at your best smile. It is important to discuss how any procedure will affect your bite and gums, so a complete evaluation of your teeth is necessary. Your dentist should take his time, listen to you, and answer any questions you have.

Typically, a good dentist is more than happy to show you work he has performed and will keep a file of before and after pictures in his office as well as showcase them on his website. Ask the dentist if pictures on his website are actual patients or if they are stock photos. Professional before and after pictures will give you a good sense of the quality and type of work you can expect from the dentist.
Take the time to do your own “smile analyses” at home so that you can give thedentist a good sense of what you like and don’t like about your smile. During this discussion, you can gauge his or her experience and expertise to be able to address your issues.

Botox East Molesey, FAQ are answered by cosmetic dentist www.esteticaa.co.uk

What is Botox?

Botox is a purified protein that has to ability to relax hyperactive muscles. Facial wrinkles that are caused by hyperactive and tense facial muscles that can be effectively treated and relaxed by Botox with minimal risk and a natural outcome.

Is Botox safe?

The amount of Botox needed to treat facial lines and wrinkles is very safe, demonstrated by the face that millions of Botox treatments have been performed worldwide over the past 3 decades. Botox is not recommended for women who are pregnant or are nursing says dentist in molesey. This is not because of any known adverse effects but rather due to the fact that no studies have been performed on pregnant or nursing mothers receiving Botox.

Who is a candidate for Botox?

Any one who wishes to reverse the effects of the facial aging process with no down time is an appropriate candidate for Botox injections. Typically, for most patients, Botox is the first anti-aging treatment performed.

Will I lose all facial expression?

You do not need to worry about Botox giving you an expressionless face. Botox will allow you to stop looking unconsciously or unwillingly angry and stressed and will reduce the lines and wrinkles due to hyperactive facial muscles. However, your purposeful facial expressions will not be completely taken away and can still frown or look surprised, just without the extra wrinkles and creases on your face.

Will others know that I have had Botox?

The greatest thing about Botox is that the results are very natural and subtle. Botox makes you look younger, appear more relaxed, and less tense. Although you look better, typically no one can figure out what you did!

What are some of the advantages of Botox?

  • Botox is a non-invasive and non-surgical treatment for wrinkles.
  • The effect of Botox is relatively quick and dramatic.
  • Botox can help prevent certain wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions..
  • Botox injections are relatively painless.
  • The effect of Botox is not permanent.
  • Botox does not require anesthesia.
  • In some cases, Botox may help ease tension and or migraine headaches.

Can I benefit from combining other cosmetic treatments with Botox?

One of the greatest combination treatments involves the simultaneous use of Botox and Restylane With such combination treatments using Botox and facial fillers, an “instant face lift” may be achieved with minimal to no down-time, no incisions, and no anesthesia. The results will amaze you!

When should I start to get Botox treatments?

You’ll know when it’s time to get Botox! Usually the first sign that it may be time for Botox is that those facial lines and wrinkles that used to only be present with expression start to not fade away with a relaxed face and get much deeper than before with facial expressions.

Who performs the Botox treatments?

Estetica dental is the surrey’s premiere location for Botox treatments and other facial injectables.

Do Botox injections hurt?

Typically no anesthetic is needed for Botox injections. A small amount of Botox is administered using a very small and fine needle. Most patients experience very minimal discomfort, similar to the sensation of having facial hairs plucked. Anesthetic creams and special cooling/numbing devices are available to increase your comfort.

What are the potential risks and complications of Botox?

Under the care of trained medical professionals, Botox treatments are extremely safe, probably one of the safest cosmetic medical treatment available today. Botox is however not without a very small chance of potential risks and complications that depend on the location of the treatment. You provider will discuss the specific risks of your Botox treatment with you before your treatment.

How much do Botox injections cost?

£150-£180  for 1-3 areas

What is the recovery like?

In general, no recovery time is needed after Botox. Botox treatments may be administered in the morning before work, during a lunch break, or on the way home from work. You will be instructed not to rub the treated area for a couple of hours after the treatment. Your provider may also ask you to try and “exercise” the treated muscles for the first 1-2 hours following the treatment, as this will increase the effectiveness of the Botox treatment. Since there is always a theoretical risk of bruising with any injection, we recommend that you don’t get Botox immediately before an important event.

How long will the results last?

Typically, it takes 4-5 days for the Botox to start to take effect, and it may take up to 2 weeks to see the full effects of Botox. Botox results generally last between 3-6 months. Same day appointments for Botox are typically available,at Estetica.

Smile Makeover estetica surrey wwww.esteticaa.co.uk 01932 570099

August 13th, 2010

During the past few years there has been a lot of media attention about cosmetic dentistry, especially extreme makeovers. Our philosophy at estetica in surrey is to enhance the beauty and not create an artificial generic look. Through technological advancements, it is now possible to conservatively improve and strengthen the health and function of a patient’s appearance and smile.

If you are considering an enhancement of your appearance with a smile makeover, it is important to have realistic expectations says Dr Salimi  at Estetica in surrey. Often times a client sets their expectations too low and cannot imagine the wonderful possibilities that exist to improve ones overall appearance.

The most important consideration when thinking about a smile enhancement is the expertise of the cosmetic dental team. Imagine building your dream house. You wouldn’t just hire the best architect and not pay attention to the general contractor and the materials they are using to build the house. The same analogy holds true in a smile makeover. It starts with knowledgeable cosmetic dentists with an artistic flair that takes into consideration all the facial features when designing a new smile, all the way to the ceramist that can reproduce what the dentist has envisioned.

Often a smile makeover has been completed on a client without properly assessing the situation or envisioning the final result. This can bring on frustration since expectations were not met and the end result was unsatisfactory or worse yet, nothing really fit properly. At estetica dental, we go through a series of records in order to 1) preview and envision the final result and 2) create a blueprint that drives the process to completion.

  • Assessment Photography: We utilize the best professional digital camera system to take complete series of photos to assess the relationship of the smile with facial features, assess the color composition of the teeth and the texture of teeth. Because the lower 1/3 of the face has a major impact on the perception of facial esthetics the role of a beautiful smile is undeniable and the proper photography allows us to evaluate it.

  • Assessment Waxup: This is the blueprint for the smile enhancement. It is created by taking extremely accurate imprints of teeth with a material that can actually reproduce the textural detail on a brand new dollar bill. We determine and register how your teeth meet in function and chewing. This will help us to avoid any interference in the final smile makeover that could prove disastrous. We must determine how your jaw fits in your skull, for instance, is the upper jaw at a slant in relation to the rest of the face? This way we can avoid having teeth longer on one side and shorter on the other. All this information is communicated with the ceramist who will make the waxup blueprint and actually create the final restorations. The ceramist technician is so important that we have contracted with one of the best in the world. They use all the information we give them to create the most flattering and attractive smile.
